By road: The nearest city is Gangtok and it takes about 4-5 hours to reach Nathula. Only authorized vehicles are permitted to Nathula Pass. As Nathula is devoid of network connectivity and public occupancy, it is advisable NOT to travel alone, pick shared vehicles if you are a solo traveler.

Favorable time to visit: March to June. But if you love snow, pick February to March.
